Who you pay. Two bills, never three. Lorah’s plan, Free or Pro. And your model provider’s usage at their published rates, on their invoice, not ours. A local model through Ollama or LM Studio has no bill at all; Lorah shows it as unpriced. A Pro trial unlocks Lorah’s features, not a provider’s models: you still bring your own key.

What's BYOK and why does Lorah use it?
BYOK = bring your own keys. You pay model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Perplexity, xAI (Grok), etc.) directly for inference. Lorah does not relay your prompts through our servers and applies zero markup on token costs. You always know exactly what you're paying and where it goes.
Is my data sent to Lorah's servers?
No. Lorah is local-first. Your workspace, memory, conversations, and API keys live on your machine. The desktop app talks directly to the model providers you choose — not to us.
What happens after the 14-day free trial?
Lorah drops to the Free tier and nothing is deleted. Chat and Ask Lorah keep working with 3 active teammates; the rest stay but don’t act. Sync, Remember this, new Rooms, background tasks and MCP pause. Memory, materials, past rooms and history stay readable. Upgrade any time to switch everything back on.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The 14-day trial doesn't ask for payment info. Download, try, and decide.
